The Hornets are in the city of Chicago today to play a game of basketball against an opposing team, namely the Bulls. Should be exciting.

The dealio...
Hornets (W-L): 34-15
Bulls (W-L): 20-30
Game Time: 7:30pm Central, because Chicago is weird like that.
Injury Report: For the Bulls, Luol Deng and Ben Gordon are out indefinitely, while Kirk Hinrich (bruised ribs) and Chris Duhon (gout) are iffy (source). As for the Hornets, we should be at full strength. Teddy Kider tells us Chandler is ready to go, and John Reid expects Morris Peterson to be back healthy from the flu.
TV: CST. If you're tuning in from the North shore, the game will be shown on channel 318 on Charter systems throughout St. Tammany Parish, Hammond and Thibodaux. Additional Charter markets of New Roads, Marksville and St. James Parish can watch the game on channel 118. Source.
Radio: KMEZ 102.9 FM in New Orleans and WIBR 1300-AM in Baton Rouge.
Linkage: No game preview from Ryan. Sad face. | AP game preview | Blog a Bull (a fine Bulls' blog it be).
I'll likely be checking in during the game with some oh-so-insightful comments, because the couch is pretty close to the computer after all.
Also, if you haven't done so already, be sure to enter our super-fantastic prize giveaway thing and be in with a chance to win a Chris Paul All-Star jersey and a pair of the new Air Jordan CP3 shoes. (Just a little tip: Try coming up with a total that nobody else has chosen yet.)

In other news, ESPN have bumped Washington at Chicago on February 29th in favor of Utah at New Orleans. About time.

mo has the flu too? i thought that was a while ago and that he was out for the last game because of back spasms. i'm pulling for him to attempt for than 5 shots! double figures mo, or byron will cut you! flint is nothing compared to where byron grew up - compton is it? nvm, flint it worse. trust me kids. michael moore told me so. go tyson, kick some bulls ass. they were idiots to let you go, but now they suck, we rule and all that jazz. go hornets! i pullin for chris to score anywhere between 2 and 42 points!

i just want a win really badly tonight. for all those that care, i just finished a exam and i didn't study at all! each day over the weekend i promised, but i didn't. its like sabotage or something. the exam i felt was extra easy - the questions felt like common sense to me, but if i had studied, i know i would have gotten a A. now i don't know what will happen. but the hornets give me solace during the nba season. the jays are my favourite team - but the hornets have been in a special place in my heart these past few cold months....lol, this is like a diary. i sound so stupid with the "special place in my heart" i was about to cry, and now i feel like a dork. i am as corny as clay aiken this moment. its not as if i can't get a good mark in this class, cuz i've done it many times before. note to self, therapy is the way to go! its free in this country! lets kick some bulls ass.

You're right about, Mo, sparks. It was back spasms, not the flu. My brain is stupid. Who are the jays?

Whoops, looks like Peterson is out again. Back still bothering him. Rasual Butler will get the start tonight.

See-saw first quarter. Defense was nice except for a stretch mid-way through when we started giving up layups and putbacks. Mostly tho we forced jumpshots. Unfortunately, the Bulls are hitting them.

peja is on fire a little, tyson rebounding like crazy. hopefully we can win this! since the starters went out for the bulls with injuries, the replacements off the bench actually try. unlike the starters who complain about money.

Horrible first half overall. Bulls are playing great defense though. I hope West figures out these double teams sooner rather than later.

They should makeButler drive the team bus. At least that way he would be contributing SOMETHING. Why not give those minutes to Haluska? Hell, I'd even rather see Vinicious at this point. I'm confidant the bees will come back- but that was not their finest half of basketball.

That's better. Bowen doing it on D and CP and Peja leading the offense. It's like we just flipped a switch. Up 5 nearing the end of 3.
