Because we're so incredibly important and fantastic, we got passed along some photos and info from the Jordan CP Launch Party, which went down at a fine establishment called Republic in the Warehouse District here in New Orleans last Friday night.
Yeah, right after we got done beating the Jazz.
As the name would suggest, the party was to celebrate the launch of Chris Paul's first signature shoe for Jordan Brand, the Jordan CP, which is now available to buy in stores of the shoe-selling variety.

Looks like everyone had themselves a good time. The party would have been better of course if I had been invited. I hear all the ladies were bummed that I didn't show up. They had to make-do mingling with all the tall, rich athletes and celebrities instead of listening to me reciting witty Gil McGregor puns. Ladies love puns, you know.
Wrapping this up with some info on the Jordan CP...

Oh, now that was some fun blogging. I love how everyone is lookin all hot and Bowen totally dressed like a farmer... from Iowa. And dude, Tyson... it was not that cold out Friday. (Wasn't it? I was drinking.) Exactly how many shirts are you wearing? CP's mom lets him wear ONE random piece of bling. But that's it! Because he's a nice boy.

cleo is my hero. jadakiss repping a crazy hornets jacket. dj clue apparently <strong>ron is that the wire dude the girl beside you at the last game was talking to you about?</strong> the wire is the show guys watch on team airplanes, buses etc. in the nfl and nba. kinda ironic, since the best characer is a <strong>gay criminal who steals from other criminals and gives back to the communtiy</strong>... somehow these big and sometimes homophobic dudes watch it. figures. or something like that. crazy good show. i would watch it more, but other hog the tv. its on hbo and i think BET. best drama hands down! they make baltimore look like Compton. juju, not 21? pffff. rasual with the three point sign? lol. where is peja? he should be doing that. bonzi can show up for a party but not sit on the sidelines? west's face is priceless! everyone but peja showed up?

Jadakiss jacket is off the hook man I want that so bad. Tyson has no idea what to wear Loving Mike James' long sleeve with the fleur de lis in the middle, good shit. He's officially signed now, so he'd be eligible to play tonight. I'm not sure we'll have him active, although it's a possibility if West sits out with that ankle tweak. Birdman's first game back could be against the Hawks. How fitting.
