Tonight: The New Jersey Nets take on your New Orleans Hornets at the Arena. Four tough games beyond this one so a win would be glorious.
Based on their record, you could say that the Nets suck, but as Tyson Chandler told SI.com, everybody's gunning for the Hornets these days...
"Teams get up for us. Teams get up to play us. It's no longer us being the (hunter), now we're the hunted. Predator to prey. It makes it tougher because those games you used to be able to kind of sneak by, no longer sneak by. You've got every team in the league gunning for you now.''
Game info...
Hornets (W-L): 41-19
Nets (W-L): 26-35
Game Time: 7:00pm Central.
TV: CST
Radio: KMEZ 102.9 FM in New Orleans and WIBR 1300-AM in Baton Rouge.
Linkage: Ryan's game preview | Joe NetsFan | New Jersey misses Byron Scott
It's a good guess that Byron will sit David West again tonight, while Bonzi Wells will probably miss another couple games with that Achilles strain. Hopefully Chris Andersen will suit up and see his first action tonight. You know, when we're up by 20 in the fourth quarter.
Don't forget the comments below: Where discussion happens.
[Update] Hornets win, as does Juju. 107-96. Dude, I was only off by 4 total points with my prediction for this one.

Down by a couple going into halftime- but I feel good about this one so far. The Netshave shot ridiculously well to this point, and should cool off. JuJu is kicking ass yet again- hopefully cementing himself into the rotation even after D-west and Bonzi get back. My only real complaint is Ely's usual error riddled performance. When the trim down to twelve active players come playoff time- I'm guessing it will be Ely and Butleron the benchin street clothes.

JUJU ! =) nothing but smiles after tonights attendance and play of these hornets pity anderson didnt get a bit of garbage time but julian has been making the most of d.west injured ankle and has been playing like a rookie on a mission to get some playoff time ? houston spurs wow would it be great to knock houstons winning streak but a win at the spurs would be ok too i guess

Ok here's our 12 man roster for the playoffs: Chris Paul, Morris P, Peja S, David W, Tyson C, Hilton A, Ryan B, Bonzi W, Mike J, Jannero P, Julian Wright, and Birdman/Ely (depends on who plays better but I think it will be the birdman) also, I LOOOOOVE JUJU. The man is a beast!

Okay, so someone one on NBA TV called Sacto's Kevin Martin the baby-faced assassin?! Seems like infringement on CP territory. (Of course, Martin was busy putting up 48.) But then again, when they played MJ's Smooth Criminal at the arena last night, all I could see was CP picking pockets...
