Okay, time to take control of our own destiny.
Tonight the Hornets face the Los Angeles Clippers in the final home game of the regular season at the New Orleans Arena. Should the Hornets win, we clinch the division title and can finish no lower than the second seed. Should the Hornets lose, game 82 in Dallas tomorrow will be intense.

Info...
Hornets (W-L): 55-25
Clippers (W-L): 23-57
Game Time: 7:00pm Central.
TV: CST locally, League Pass elsewhere.
Radio: KMEZ 102.9 FM in New Orleans and WIBR 1300-AM in Baton Rouge.
Linkage: Lots of it, and very CP3-heavy...

Also keep an eye on Lakers-Kings in L.A. tonight (9:30pm Central). That's the final game of the regular season for the Lakers, and if they somehow lose they finish with a 56-26 record. That leaves the door open for our Hornets, who could finish with a 57-25 record if we beat the Clips and Mavs.
As for our likely opponent in the opening round of the Playoffs? Let's explore those options tomorrow, when there are fewer variables to deal with and my head hurts less.
Feel free to go nuts in the comments. Here's hoping we snap out of this funk and kick ass tonight.
[UPDATE] Hornets breathe fire in the second half, win 114-92.

Pretty good standings considering we're 2-13 from 3, but the Clippers, seriously? At least DX knows what he's doing.

our defence is sht, we cnt gaurd ne1, wher tryin to outscore the other team jus like we did the last 2 games we lost.....and peja needs to learn how to shoot, they guy has struggled to make a three in the past couple months, he has 1 good game and then 5 bad ones, if he is guna play like tht in the playoffs wher out in the first round...

Is Bonzi hurt? If not, has coach Scott lost his mind? Mo Pete started out well- causing a couple turnovers, making some shots-why wasMike James getting significant minutes instead of Mo or Bonzi? This is a hell of a time to start giving minutes to the new guy- not suprisingly, he gave us nothing in return. And what the hell is going on with Chris Paul? He is obviously afraid to shoot the ball- and rightly so from the few bricks he does throw up. Who the hell is this guy, and what has he done with CP3? Thank God David is on fire, or we'd be down by 20 at the half. This shit is killing me.

As long as he's healthy by play-off time. I'm happy to hear he's not in Coach's doghouse. It looks like CP3 has returned from the dead. And I think somebody owes Peja an apology. GREAT game by David and Mo-Pete so far.

I guess as a nod to Ryan~ Clippers' (and former Hornets, for those without an elephant's memory) Dan Dickau is one of three players for the Clips to have a zero plus/minus or above. Hot stuff. And ironically one game after spewing chunks at Sactown... Go Sactown!

Please refrain from the name calling. I'm pretty sure Peja's hot supermodel wife can confirm that he's not gay, no matter how many shots he misses. And name-calling the name caller isn't a good idea either. Rise above it, people. Hornets won in a rout, we are division champs for the first time in franchise history, and in the toughest division in recent memory no less. Rejoice for a while. Recap coming.
