Let's go, Hornets. There's still plenty of non-believers out there. Time to show them the light.

Still can't round up enough people to head out into Spur-land (Austin, Tx) so I'm home alone with H247, some peanut butter, and my new shoes. What's everyone else's story?

I wish David West would follow his shots.

Melvin Ely sucks. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I'd hoped he would have some kind of edge with his former team- he doesn't. The dude is a joke on bothe ends of the floor. For the love of God and all that is holy- PLEASE give his minutes to Hilton.

Glad I got that out of my system. I thought our defense looked good in the first half-but with Tyson on the bench we gave up too many second chance points. If we can improve on that (we should-w/Tyson back to regular minutes)-and if we make our damned lay-ups- we should be just fine. GO HORNETS!!!!!

Everyone knows that New Orleans is known for it's Voodoo and black magic, what exactly was that stuff that was sprayed on the side that the spurs were going to be playing during the second half. Even during Mardi Gras, fortune tellers were approached and asked if the Spurs would go all the way, they were told "NO"...because everyone knows that the real magicused up there is best known as New Orleans Voodoo (Santeria). Even the refs are helping by giving them dumb calls, can't even get close to them because they are fouled. One guy in the audience was saying Oberto was "crying" in the first game yet....the Spurs are getting all the bad calls thanks to the refs!!!

A real team wins without the help of the refs. It's a shame that a team with such "young" guys have to depends on someone else to help them with their game. These are the playoffs, not little league, let them play, let them get tough out there, stop hiding under their NBA skirts.

I think this was the game. The cover is blown, the Hornets are a secret no more. Past few days everyone kept going back and saying 1 solid game against the Spurs wasn't much, it's just a game. Now 2 in a row, 2 solid wins, and 2 wins in completely different fashion. Game 1 they held Paul in check and West killed them, Game 2 they had West in check and Paul killed them. Peterson, Peja, JuJu have been solid. As long as we keep the tempo up, I can't see the Spurs coming back and winning the series. They just completely come unglued at this tempo. I mean when one of the fastest guards in the league is blown away by an even faster up and coming guards, that says something.

The Spurs trolls are complaining about the refs? This from the biggest bunch of floppers in the league? From the cheap shot artists that needed Stern to intercede to get past the Suns last year? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH

Consider me amazed if Spurs fans are blaming the refs for this loss. Come on, people. You're better than that. You can blame the refs all you like when your team plays better defense, turns the ball over less, hits their outside shots and doesn't get blown out by 18 points. A few missed calls should be the least of your worries. Recap coming.

The Hornets have the Spurs number so far this season (regular and playoffs). The Spurs look old and beat up from their last series against the Suns.

I said before this series if the Hornets hold serve 2-love at home they will win this series and I see nothing to dissuade my prediction now that the 2-0 lead has come to fruition. The Spurs will be very VERY lucky to win the next 2 in the Alamo. Not saying its impossible for the Spurs, but since the Spurscannot stop CP3 from going to the hole they will be risking their playoffs on whether Peja, Pargo, West, Peterson, Wright, Bonzi, etc can make shots. And, you have got to figure thatin at least one of the next two gamesthose guys will make enough open shots for us to beat the often offensively challenged Spurs. Honestly though, I am already looking ahead to facing the Lakers in the WCF which will be an epicbattle of two of the most unselfish, fun to watch teams that the NBA has had since the 80's. The Lakers are like those great unselfishSacramento Kings teams a few years ago with one exception. When all else fails they have a guy named Kobe who can make any shot from anywhere on the court a la MJ. I don't see the Hornets beating the Lakers this year but it will be a treat to watch that chess match. The storytlines will be great too. MVP Kobe vs could have Should have beenMVP CP3. Byron Scott vs his old team. Cannot wait...
