If you didn't make it to the Hornets draft party last Thursday and you think you didn't miss much, well, you kinda did...

Okay, enough of that. In actual basketball news, free agency begins at midnight tonight, and there's talk of the Hornets targeting Corey Maggettes, Ben Gordons, Ron Artests and perhaps even Josh Childresseseses. I'd link to something solid to back up these wild rumors, but such a link does not exist
Maybe tomorrow.

I'm in love with Josh Childress. He's not bad at anything, is ridiculously efficient, and does not even care too much about taking a bench spot or sharing the 2 spot with mo pete, evident by his role as 6th man on a much lesser team, the Hawks. I believe Josh Childress is the best player we can target and if Bower manages to pick him up, all is forgiven.

I'm not sure Tyson's wife would be happy with Childress on the team. Dude tried to get frisky with TC on the KissCam back in March.

contacted my source for the first time in a while. Did not tell me anything specific, but he said expect a big splash very very soon. He said Hornets have targeted their players and are on the verge of making a few movies be it trade or FA signings.

Interesting... all very interesting. I'm in love with Josh Childress...... 's HAIR! The Hornets have a distinct lack of fro action. On a serious note, I'm intrigued by what we might see this week.

I was just going to mention how ridiculous Childress' hair is. The 'fro guarantees the kid plays ~3 inches taller than his natural height: a nice 6'8". An invaluable asset, if I do say so myself. I'm not too keen on Artest on our team too (I love his game, but I don't think he'd work best with the Teal), but after 'Hype mentioned Maggette, I think he's our best bet (sign-trade) currently. Yes Gordon could help our bench/starting line-up incredibly, but I see our team profiting most from a second-tier PG as our backup, and a strong frontcourt player with Maggette. Thank the Lord we have Chris Paul, because everybody wants to play for him (in some video-surveys with Jordan Brand players, I think every player asked 'who within the brand would you want to play a 2-2 game with', responded with CP). Then again, I don't see a major move in our off-season, but we do have some necessities to address on our bench... Money Mike, I say!

Yeah, I keep hearing whispers that the Hornets aren't setting for a 6th or 7th man, but are looking to capture the top free agent available, and aren't afraid of breaking the bank to do so. In a few hours we may know more...

Oh, and Artest is not opting out. And seriously, not one comment on the Honeybee pics? Wow...

SchaWIIIINNNG! (There you go mW) Oh, and very excited about Hilton and JuJu getting serious burn in pre season. JuJu's ceiling seems limitless and I'm still gunning for Armstrong to come good. Real good.

I'm always a bit afraid when there are trade-rumors, because they could send JuJu away! I hope they won't!!!
