The Hornets unveiled their new uniforms this afternoon. Here's a few pics so you can get a feel for the refreshed threads...

Just for gits and shiggles, the Hornets also unveiled some new logos. The first one below is the Fleur de Bee that was introduced last season. The second logo is an updated version of the traditional Hornets logo, while the third is brand spanking new...
Must admit, all of this new stuff is pretty nice. I am of course quite the fashion icon, so I know niceness when I see it. And this is niceness indeed.

I dig. Never beena huge fan of the traditional logo, but I like the new NOLA swish, and love love love the Fleur De Bee. And pinstripes are dapper. I'll expect Juju to be out on court with some two tone shoes and a moll on his arm.

I like the new logo. Its not as rockin as the Fluer de Bee, but I like it nonetheless. And yes, the store in the Arena will be open and prepared to relieve me of my paycheck this weekend.

On second thought, the only thing I don't really like in all this is the updated Hugo logo. I don't think it's any better than the old one. Also, the Hornets will be unveiling the new court design at the Arena on Friday.

Ron, The only major difference in the Hugo Logo is the black "NOLA" thats written in the H on his chest. And yes, I've already set the new logos as my desktop wallpaper. Here's a good poll questions folks: Which new Hornets logo would make the best tatoo, and why?

The updates to the Hugo logo are unnecessary, it's a logo that has persevered pretty much unchanged since the early Charlotte days. The new Hugo looks constipated.

Is ir just me or are those jerseys are incredibly similar the the Charlotte Hornets jerseys of a few years ago? Change the yellow font on the blue jersey to white and bingo there you are. Not wild about that yellow either, maybe it'll grow on me. I like pinstripe jerseys.

They also changed the color of Hugo's gloves, and his wings and mouth are different. I wonder if that means real-life Hugo will have a new costume this season. @Cayman_hornet: I'd be happy to have the Fleur de Bee as our primary logo. I've loved that one since they first unveiled it, and it looks especially great compared to the altered Hugo logo. @Matt: Apparently they've redesigned the court at the Arena. It's being unveiled by Chad Shinn tomorrow (Friday) at 2pm Central. A part of me would like to see the honeycomb key make a comeback. @Mikey: If I absolutely had to get a Hornets tattoo, it would be the FdB. Right on my forehead.

There is no way the Fleur de Bee logo is better than the Hugo Logo. And I mean the old hugo logo, which is still the better one!!! The jerseys are fine!
