After a three-game road trip followed by a five-day layoff, the Hornets finally return to the New Orleans Arena tonight to do battle with the Phoenix Suns. Those guys are 11-7 on the season, having lost their last two in the desert to the Heat and Nets. Dwyane Wade and Devin Harris combined for 90 points in those two games. Whoops.
Buzz Fest starts at 5:30 Central. Game tips a little after 7. According to the T-P, Mo Pete should be back but not starting and Steve Nash might not play at all.

I saw that no-Steve Nash game (against Miami?). Oh gosh, what a horrible game without their facilitator (same goes if CP goes down). Let's hope Steve Nash plays, so we can have some actual analysis from this game.

Tied at 59 as I type this.
We played the best quarter of ball we may have played all year long in the first quarter. Unfortunately our bench played horribly in the 2nd and squandered the lead.
Still, it was great to see. Chandler was and has been all over the glass... Welcome back Tyson.

peja's found his stroke at the 3... guess that's a good omen for the games to come..also, all starters are in double-digits, haven't seen that in a while. hornets leading 87-76. now, to blow this game away...

Peja's got his stroke back.
Chandler and West are hitting the glass big time, particulary on the offensive end.
Lots of trips to the foul line for us, very few for them. And we knocked almost all of them down.
Too many turnovers, some bad bench play in the 2nd quarter and a few defensive lapses... but mostly we played really good basketball tonight. The team deserves props, they put it together and played a pretty complete game. I think we'll see more of this. Geaux Hornets!!!!!!!

I'm going to ignore that fact that the Suns were severely depleted and say from ~3rd quarter-end (where I watched), we were really good.
BIG effort with rebounds, especially on the offensive end. The Suns were lazy and we got some nice high tips to midcourt. Some stupid shot selection (clock management), but I was happy. If we can continue this, we should be in good standing to readily improve.
HiltonWatch... zero turnovers in 12 minutes? Success in and of itself.

Peja stepped up with his threes in the third which gave us a lift, i think he has beef with matt barnes, because i remeber last time earlier in the season them two were going at it as well, and peja is owned him both times.
