Time to forget all about that win in L.A. and get focused on the Jazz. The Hornets roll into Utah tonight for an 8pm tip (that be Central time). First meeting between these two clubs this season, and another chapter in the Chris Paul vs. Deron Williams saga.
The Jazz are 20-15 on the season, 13-4 at home, coming off a win over the Warriors on Monday. Before that they somehow lost to the Lakers in L.A. Utah have been without Carlos Boozer (hiccups) since mid-November, going 12-11 in his absence.
Last game of the road trip. Let's finish strong like Donkey Kong.

@ lilrip: Sorry, but we can't post links to live streams on here; might get us in trouble with the fun police. Google is your friend though. I get sent a bunch of links every day to live game streams via Google's news alerts. I can't vouch for the reliability of those links, but they're out there.

Yeah, I like the hot start, but we need to keep the offense roaring and stop them from getting the easy baskets.

I'm a little behind on my DVR, but I'll catch up by the 2nd quarter, I think. Boys looking good!

This pace isn't in our favor methinks. We're pretty sloppy, lots of second chance points for the Jazz.

Awesome. Bob just ridiculed the "Crab Dribble" when AD got a travel called against him. Gil then called it a "Crawfish Dribble."

The Jazz are good at anticipating when one of their teammates throws up a crappy shot.

Seriously. How many airballs have they caught and put back up as a dunk?

Rebounding is horrible and Peja is cold again. I'm surprised the Jazz haven't opened up a massive lead already.

Always nice to hit your first FG with 2:59 in the quarter. But at least it was a 3. And at least we had hit 7 FTs before that.

I know you guys are most concerned about where I am on my DVR and it's looking like I'm only about 5 minutes behind you. See you in the 3rd.

Given the circumstances, it could be worse than a 12 point deficit. I like our chances to make a run in the 2nd half, but we'll have to dig deep after last night

The Jazz announcers are decent (recap in Journals post game) but were ALL OVER us re: second quarters. When it started they were talking about how terrible we are at them. We proved them right. Yuck.

I really hate the way we match up against the Jazz. Always seems like we're driving and holding down the brake and the gas. Getting no where, sluggish, stop, go, stop, go.
Very hard to watch.
We need that flow

Wow. 29-12 rebounding advantage for the Jazz in the first half. That's ridiculous.

Are the CST announcers referencing Hot Rod at all? He's the only guy working for the Jazz who was there from the first game in New Orleans. Tonight he's calling his 3,000th game and they just had an awkward ceremony for him.
Luck of the draw or are the NBA schedulers that slick?

The good news is that if you found a bookie that was willing to spot you 30 points, you're still excited by this game.

Pretty sad. Looks like they threw in the towel early. That's not the type of toughness I was looking for.
Compete and lose, no problem. But to pretty much just say screw it.
And what was the point of the tech on Posey? He's walking away from the situation and the ref goes out of his way to go back and throw a tech in his direction.
At least I can go to bed before 2am tonight.
