Final stop on the road trip for the Hornets tonight, as they take on the Kings in Sacramento. Game tips a little after 9 p.m. Central.
Big news for the Hornets is the potential return of Tyson Chandler for this one. He done twittered a few hours ago that he will play tonight, but he'll probably still be a game time decision, having been out of action since January 19.
Having lost seven of eight, the Kings are now owners of the NBA's worst record at 12-45. They're 8-18 at home this season. They were busy at the trade deadline last week but haven't ended up much better off after all the moves, at least in the short term.

Alright, just came in from the parade route. Hugo went by a few floats ago. I'm ready for a demolition of the Kings tonight.

Hey the King's announcer just called Peja's 3-pointed a "Serbian layup". I thought that was funny.

After Igoudala hit 1 of 2 free throw to put the Sixers up 1 with 1.8 left in the game, Bobby Simmons inbounds to Devin Harris who hits the halfcourt shot to win the game as time expired. Refs reviewed it and said it was good.

Wow, just saw the Devin Harris shot. That was crazy.
Great fast half for the Hornets. Smacking the Kings like they should. More of the same in the second please, then I'll get back to the Mardi Gras stuff.

Key stats:
- Hornets 32-17 rebounding advantage.
- Hornets 14-21 FTs. Kings 14-20 FTs.
- Antonio Daniels 5 assists in 5 minutes.
- Kevin Martin 1-6 FGs, 5 points.
- Hornets 7-16 3FGs.
Anyone know the points in the paint and fast break stats? I'm guessing the Hornets are way ahead in both categories.

I can't get over Kevin Martin's Shot. He doesn't jump. It looks like he just kind of flings it.

Starters haven't gotten much help from the bench at all. Posey has 10, rest of bench has managed 3.
Tyson's been looking pretty spry.

Would be nice if we had Butler out there to guard Martin. Posey can't handle him.

What happened to Rasual? I saw a play where he looked like he might've tweaked something but he stayed in the game. I'm just noticing now that he hasn't played in the 4th.

Why has A. Daniels only played 7 minutes? I'm on a ski trip and can't watch the game. Oh, and any word on Mo Pete? What's up with that dude?

Mo Pete's foot is still sprained. Daniels played okay in the first half, but when he got on the floor in the second, the Hornets got torched and gave up 10 straight points - so Byron put Paul in.

Tyson played great on offense - nice screens, great finishes, decent boards, and made his FT's.
On defense he was active but his timing was off. I look forward to seeing him become his usual presence in the paint as the week wears on.
Great to have him back - we're 1-0 on this stretch and we've got 15 more winnable games before the Spurs come to NOLA at the end of March.
