The Hornets got blown out of the Staples Center last night by the Lakers, and tonight they're back in the same building to play the Clippers. Game tips at 9:30 p.m. Central.
After starting the season 0-4, thems Clips have won three straight games, though their opponents in those three have been the T-Wolves, Warriors and Grizzlies. Those teams currently have a combined record of 3-16.
L.A. will of course be without Blake Griffin tonight, and Eric Gordon is doubtful with a sore left groin. Gordon's absence should mean our old friend Rasual Butler will be in the starting lineup for the Clippers.
As for the Hornets, Byron Scott has decided to shake things up even more, saying he'll slot Peja Stojakovic back into the starting lineup and hinting that he'll play the rookies more.

I hope CP3 doesn't look like somebody pissed in his Grape Nuts tonight, but unfortunately that seems to be his new gameface.

MoPete and D. Brown aren't taking us anywhere. Byron can either fight for his job or allow himself to be fired by not playing the young guys.

I have written many posts saying that our team needs some time to gel due to the addition of so many new faces, and I still think we are many games away from really seeing any true identity of this team. MoPe, D Brown, and B Brown all got their chance, and I think coach was right to give it to the vets first.
But...now it is time to FREE THE ROOKIES!

If you are having trouble with that site, try --> http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=55189&part=sports
Note: If it says UUSee, you need to download UUSee before you can click on the link and watch it. Same for PPlive. There are links to download both pieces of software from the site.

Amazing. We suddenly look like the Hornets of old. Working it in with CP and West, kicking it to open shooters for 3. Plus, Collison getting burn early. Great start.

Things look different. We'll see if it's good.
Looks good. Smells good. But is it?
One swallow doesn't make a spring....
Also, it looks like we're still living and dying by the 3. Is that one reason we had had such poor offensive outings latel, that Ju isn't a 3 threat so defenses could choke us?

Ankle. Does he use that one? I use mine but I'm not good at basketball. Maybe it's my anklework...
In all seriousness, this going to suck, but at least it's early in the season. More time for the other guys while we're winning 1 of 3 anyway? That's just lipstick on a pig...
Stay healthy, buddy.

is that someone else in Devin Brown's shirt?
who is this guy??? seriously???
Well i think you can see the difference it makes when the coach actually THINKS about his rotations
Sigh on Cp3, but you know this team seems to need a chip on it's shoulder to play with any sense of decency atm.
Don't care if the rookies make mistakes, any time they get on the floor is an investment in the future and they are all energy and effort

I am loving the rookies' play so far, but I think we all can agree that collison should lay off the granny shots for three.

Everything I had possibly hoped could happen for this game has happened. I just hope the shooting % of the rooks doesn't earn them more pine time.

Hilton for some reason is looking great with these rooks. Can't do anything right with the main crew, but seems energized with DC/Buckets. For that matter, those kids with Songaila and Posey are looking like a nice 2nd unit.
