My League Pass almost always shows the broadcast for the team opposite the Hornets, so I'm going to make note of some of my favorite bits from the announcers here. (Note: All my journals will be late as I'm almost always watching the game the following morning. I perform live comedy most nights in Austin, Tx - if you're in the area, let me know)
Weird. There is almost as much enthusiasm for the Hornets as there is for the Jazz. These guys weren't mean at all, nor were they unreasonable. They were giving Chris Paul a LOT of credit throughout the game. A few details:
Announcer 1 mentions that the Hornets are 3rd best free-throw shooting team in the league at over 80%, Announcer 2 follows with "shooting 80% as a team and being 3rd best...uh...uh.....hhhhhh.....that's good."
These guys keep saying "bitch points" but I think they mean to say "bench points."
After the last commercial break of the first half there was a camera shot of the arena from the outside and no audio. It looked creepy.
Other thoughts:
I really love those old school Jazz uniforms. I want the team we have, I'm definitely satisfied, but man. Would have been nice to have had a hometown team when I was a kid.

Was it better than CST's shot of scintillating downtown Utah, featuring a giant lit up... BARNES AND NOBLE? We laughed.
And I just realized I said downtown Utah. That was an error, I'm tired. But I'm keeping it. I decided it was Freudian.
It's interesting, though, that the Jazz announcers are nice to us. The fans all hate everything to do with New Orleans because of their weird Deron Williams shoulderchip. The only other team feeds I've seen this year are Rockets and Blazers. Blazers were bad, and Rockets were like Bob & Gil's jokin' twins.

I'm surprised that the Jazz announcers were good given that they're old school (they are, right?). Usually the old school guys are the biggest homers. Props to them though for keeping the broadcast balanced.

Maybe they were feeling sentimental.

I agree, they were pretty solid. The jumped all over Paul getting a foul in the first 36 seconds of the game guarding Deron, but were quick to give credit were credit was due.
Of course, all the credit was flowing towards their team too, so I'm sure that helped. :)

The blazers announcers are horrible. That Mike Rice dude..the biggest homer I know. It doesn't help that the hornets always get a player ejected at Portland, because then he says more things that get me upset.
Man, did I mention how much the blazers announcers get to my nerves haha. Maybe if I went to a game in Portland I might get thrown out also!!
