Remember the period of time when the Hornets ran Anthony Mason at Point Forward? At the time, I thought it was awesome but then again, I was probably 13 years old..

That team with Rice, Mason and Divac was my favorite Hornets unit up until last season. Mase could handle the ball really well for a guy so big and bulky. He averaged something like 16, 11 and 6 that season playing huge minutes.
Pity that group always choked in the playoffs though.

From the random memories I remember when I had internet for the first few days and went to the Hornets website and memorized all of the players shoe sizes, my mom still sees that as an ultimate knowledge of basketball :D
But back to the Mason thing, I really loved that team and I did not understand the trading fully and I was so mad when Mason and Rice were traded, for me they were always the face of that franchise, same with Muggsy.

Anthony Mason. Man, that cat was a beast.
I never got games for the Hornets back in the day, so my best memory was Glen Rice's All Star MVP. Had that newspaper picture on my door for a minute.
