Here is an article with some interesting comments from Pargo on his experience abroad, signing problems with the Hornets, and the Hornets' difficulties last season. His comments regarding his absence's pressure on Chris and the second unit echo many of the posters on 247.
Also, DraftExpress has done a few other pieces on Pargo's experience abroad, if anyone's interested.

Hmm an interesting light shed on the whole situation. Pargo is definately worth a 3yr/9mill contract and this coming from a non-Pargo fan. If anything, bring him back at that price to make CP happy, especially if they trade David and/or Tyson. Can't gut all of Chris' in-house friends. Basketball leaves in NO when CP3 decides if/when he wants to leave.

I agree. I wouldn't pay him 4.5 mil a year, but 3 mil a year is fair I think. And signing Pargo gives us the added bonus of being able to trade Daniels' contract worry free

Nice find. Thanks for posting it on here. I would have liked to see us keep Pargo for that much, too.

The scary aspect, to me, of letting Pargo go is that management seemed to have no grasp of how integral he was to balancing the first and second teams. Regardless of his low shooting percentage overall and shoddy shot selection, Jannero posed a threat whenever he was on the court. Being able to create for the second unit and then also wreak some havoc on occasion with the first unit, Pargo was the bridge that made a Hornets game feel like a full game - and not 3 quarters broken up by 12 minutes of stagnant ineptitude in the second quarter. I'm certainly not calling him some savior, but seeing Pargo chuck up shots in the second quarter of this year's games would have been the most welcome sight I've ever seen. We needed anyone who could force opposing defenses to react; we let the one bench player who could do it go.
