Nola.com is reporting that Devin Brown is being traded for Aaron Gray
http://www.nola.com/hornets/index.ssf/2010/01/new_orleans_hornets_trading_de.html
here is the scouting report on him
A big, slow center who likes to play on the block, Gray's best skill is his ability to pass out of the post. If it were accompanied by scoring ability, he'd be a tremendous force on the block, but he doesn't have the athleticism or variety of skills to finish consistently from short range. Chicago's system last year didn't do him any favors, either, as the Bulls rarely ran post-ups and mostly asked their centers to stay out of the way.
Gray is a good rebounder, ranking 17th among centers in rebound rate, but his lack of speed makes him a tremendous liability on defense. He can counteract it against big centers by using his size to push out tough post players, but either way, he picks up fouls with lightning speed.

Aaron Gray is a player, this a steal for the Hornets. The Bees get a quality backup Center & more PT for Marcus Thornton. It's a win-win for them.

lets hope so. "fortunately" brown has trailed off in production and shown his true self so that it doesnt hurt too much seeing him leave. I gotta admit though that DBrown grew on me a little. Lets just hope that mopete and bobby brown can fill the backup spot on the two.
Gray looks very slow (just watched some clips on youtube), but massive. He wont be pushed around I guess.
Good bye Devin

@MP3
The only thing getting stolen will be funnel cakes and pop corn machines. Aaron Gray likes to eat, playing basketball not so much.
FYI - I'm from Chicago, so I got ethos to say this shish.

Thanks for posting this. I can't say I'm impressed with this trade. Going to check a few things and mull it over before I draw any final conclusions.
