Gooden, Head, Smith and Swift all snapped up

There was some speculation that the Hornets might try sign one of four big names who were waived before Sunday’s playoff-roster deadline. However, all four have agreed to sign with other teams:

• Drew Gooden will sign with San Antonio.
• Luther Head will sign with Miami.
• Joe Smith has agreed to terms with Cleveland.
• Stromile Swift will be a Phoenix Sun.
