A 40-point fourth quarter enabled New York (1-3) to record a comeback victory over New Orleans (1-3), handing the Hornets their second loss in a back-to-back set against Atlantic Division foes.
The Hornets led 81-77 through three quarters, but the Knicks dominated play in the early portion of the final period. Chris Paul (32 points, 18 in fourth quarter) tried to lead a late charge by New Orleans, but New York canned 17 free throws to crack the win column for the first time in 2009-10.
