From 26 to 18 in the space of a week. Marc Stein’s comments on the Hornets:

Byron Scott, truth be told, began the season with little chance of survival. But his reluctance to play Collison and Thornton — rookies who, with Peja, just sparked wins over Phoenix and Atlanta — sealed B-Scott’s fate.
