The chef said it was delicious. Emeka Okafor wasn’t so sure. But when in New Orleans, do as New Orleanians do; eat most anything that crawls or swims, just so long as it’s prepared with the right sauce.
“I said, ‘No, no’ but they brought it out to me, anyway,” Okafor recalled. “And it was GOOD!”
Okafor, the Bobcats’ first-ever draft pick, returns to Charlotte tonight to play against his former team. He went to the Hornets in a trade for fellow center Tyson Chandler over the summer.
