The Hornets lost their fourth consecutive home game for the first time in three years as Philadelphia 76ers came away with a 101-94 victory in front of 15,162 at New Orleans Arena.
Despite making 11 3-pointers and shooting 46.8 percent from the field, the Hornets trailed by a 14-point deficit second half. Peja Stojakovic led the Hornets with 23 points and Darren Collison had 17. Guard Jason Hart, who signed a 10-day contract on Friday, played eight minutes and went scoreless but had two assits and and a rebound.
Thaddeus Young came off the bench and scored 19 points to lead the 76ers, who swept the two-game series against the Hornets.
