OKLAHOMA CITY (NBA.com exclusive) — The New Orleans Hornets used to feel right at home in Oklahoma City. The team played in the Ford Center for two seasons after Hurricane Katrina devasted the Crescent City.
The Hornets were comfortable in their home away from home where a friendly city had tossed them a life raft.
Wednesday night, though, there was no comfort for the Hornets inside a sold-out Ford Center where Oklahoma City’s rolling Thunder routed the former favorites from Bayou country 98-83 and it wasn’t nearly that close for most of the game.
