OAKLAND (NBA.com exclusive) — Monta Ellis hit a 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter to help Golden State complete its biggest comeback of the season Wednesday night.
Ellis scored 28 points and matched his career high with 13 assists as the Warriors rallied from a 21-point deficit late in the third quarter to beat the road weary New Orleans Hornets 131-121. Ellis recorded back-to-back double-doubles for the first time in his career in playing all 48 minutes.
Anthony Tolliver scored a career high 30 points for the Warriors, who won their second in nine games.
"I’m just glad I could help the team the way I did," Tolliver said. "It was my night to get some shots and help the team on the offensive end. You don’t ever want to be down 18 or 20 and have to come back but sometimes that’s what it takes to wake us up."
