  @SportsnLife: Not a big enough market. I tweeted John Hollinger about CAA maybe pushing the Nuggets to look at the Hornets, but no response.
  
  It's sad but CAA is shallow and wants a big market for their big stars. They think they run the league and David Stern acts as if nothing is going on. I wrote something about the Melo and Paul connection at my site Swarm and Sting about how if Melo leave Paul is next on the hit list... #

  I like this more and more for a number of reasons.
  
  First, he's a young player with his potential pointing up. No more old usless veterans added to the team (Posey, Peterson blah blah...)
  
  Second, the contract is very kind. Ryan siad it was something like 770,000 dollars if the contract becomes guaranteed, which is very very good.
  
  Third, he's had bigtime experience in Europe and the D-League, it's not like he's Julian Wright who's been playing very little competitive ball. Tupac has been playing consistently working on his game. #

  I think the chances of us getting 'Melo are quite slim, due to the fact that the Nuggets would want a tonne in return. I mean if we think about it from the other way around (Paul going to Denver) we'd want quite a bit too.
  
  It's tough to judge Melo's value, is he truly one of the top 5 players in the league? Or is he a top 10? I don't know but if we got Paul somehow, I think it would seem that CP would be in New Orleans for the next 5 years...
