I would not be surprised to see both teams play really well and just light it up. Seems when struggling teams meet that's when they step up. Should be interesting to watch. #

"I'm a little worried that next year the combined glares of Paul and Thornton might actually kill a teammate who fails to rotate. A lot of intensity there."
That comment got me. Another tough night. I knew we were struggling but when I was watching some ESPN yesterday afternoon I saw we dropped 8 of 10, now 9 of 11. It's tough to see things go this route but this stuff happens.
I too have a lot of positive hope for the teams future. But for all the potential there is to improve, we could really mess up and take a step back, so it's still a little nerve racking.
Who would be some guys likely to be FA's that we could sign for veteran minimum this summer? I know it's been brought up of the Hornets getting a guy or two this way but I haven't heard any possible names. #

Thanks for the update. Tough to see how this season has come out from under us so quickly. Another season of what if. I'd love a run to the playoffs, but I think it'd take too much. I think the end of this season will be about getting Paul out there with Collison and Thorton to prepare fr next season. #

I think Larry Sanders would be a good pick out of this group. Aldrich is still my ideal guy but Sanders could do some damage. I feel he would have good work ethic (most of the smaller schools guys tend to work well) so he can get bulked up. Can't wait for part five. Good job with these. #

I know how you feel. I see another loss and it is really frustrating. But yet at the same time, it gives us the chance to move up in the draft and possibly have someone like Aminu, Aldrich, or maybe even Greg Monroe (doubt it) fall to us and put this team in a solid position.
A good pick could have me salivating. Seeing what Houston got for T-Mac it gives me some hope for our expiring contracts. I know we won't get that much but we could get some legit talent hopefully. #

Did not see the game, just the stat line and saw 30+ minutes for Julian and decent stats. Did he play well tonight or are those stats deceiving? #

Love these articles. I really hope we don't take Ebanks. Nothing about him really impresses me that much and I watch a lot of college ball. Aminu would be an amazing pick for us if you ask me. And as you said, it'd be a pick that would make Chris Paul very, very happy.
I remember when ESPN.com first put the Mock Draft Lottery on there I did it 4 or 5 times and it had us getting Aminu each time. I'd be very happy with him.
I also like Cole Aldrich and can't wait to see the big man choices. I've seen some mocks having us taking Solomon Alabi out of Florida State. I'm really, really hoping that don't happen unless we are trading down because I think he'd be a stretch with the pick we are likely to have. #
Hey everyone. I'm Cody. I'm from a small town in Midwest Ohio but have been a Hornets fan since I was a little kid. My first NBA video game was NBA Live 94 and I always picked the Hornets. I became a fan. I grew into a dedicated fan when we got Glen Rice. I remember always hoping we could make a run but we always seemed to get the Bulls. The past three-four years I've followed the Hornets with the religious aspect that I follow my other sports teams. Look forward to being a member of this blog and hopefully become a welcome member of your community.
