  In the midst of all this losing, it's really remarkable to consider just how good our rookies are. Both Collison and Thornton had off-nights last night, and it really hurt the team. It amazes me that two players who went virtually overlooked in the draft are now BOTH getting Rookie of the Year considerations. In fact, if Collison were a starting point guard for an entire season, I feel pretty certain that he would be the ROY.
  
  They both bring it every night and put up big numbers. Aside from great scoring by David West here and there, they have been the engine for this team. The Hornets would be nowhere without them. Unfortunately, in a year or two, I think the team will end up trading Collison. He's too productive (already) to merely fill in when a superstar Point Guard is resting on the bench. But the team will get great trade value out of him. Until then, let's hope Bower goes with the three guard rotation of Paul, Collison, and Thornton once CP returns. #
