  • The Suns beat the Hornets

@Grayson: The call was on a "push" on a Sun player, wasn't Amare it was a bench guy, after a shot that David made. He did a post move on the defender who bumped him around 3 or 4 different times in David's post move to the basket. David hit the shot but didn't get his, "AND ONE!!!!" So as he continued in his path back to the other side of the court the defender was on him, as will happen in the course of a game, and David pushed him off his body. I am talking like a little, "uhhh your in my personal space" kind of push. He didn't even know the whistle was on him for about 15 seconds.

It was a weak tech, but I think the refs were tired of hearing him complain about not getting calls. However, he did have a legitimate complaint tonight.

On another note: I think The Incredible Bulk needs to stay on the team next season. I like him. That guy is deceptively fast getting back down the court. I guess it's the 14 foot strides that keep him at pace with the other guys. I just want to see him lose like 30 lbs (maybe just take a really big dump in the morning) and get some time to gel with the rest of the team. #

  • Who to watch in March Madness - Part 1 - Shooting Guards

Off the subject, I know... but did anyone else notice on ESPN they have D.C. and Buckets #3 and 4 respectively in the projected R.O.Y. running? WOW. The world may be looking back 5 years from now come draft time talking nostalgically about the amazing draft class the Hornets pulled from the supposed no man's land of draft picks.

We got Thornton for a future second rounder, after picking one of the true top PG's in the draft. I mean if that doesn't give Bower some slack on the "Worst GM Ever" title people like to give him I don't know what does. I guess those 3 scouts the worlds worst front office has proved it's not always quantity but sometimes about quality of the work. #

  • Game On: Warriors @ Hornets

@jib: i vote he stays. He is a much needed comedic reprieve sometimes. I mean, DECOUPAGE SHOES!?!?! That is an amazing visual. Who has shoes just for Decoupage? Boogie, Boogie in the club with the tunes and ladies. He is a wild and crazy guy! ...but I digress.

Besides, the only way to get rid of him is to trick him into saying his name backwards. But then that only gets you a 90 day reprieve, or less depending on what generation Superman comics your going by. Obviously the more current Superman universe as he ends each post with his name backwards, and yet he is back within a few days. Fricking 5th dimensioners, YOU CANT TUST THEM.

Sorry the comic nerd in me had to break out.

@QueenBee: LOL "cry me a river." That is definately what it is about. That is what about every comment section on yahoo, espn, si.com, was about. The debate about who is better, Collison or Steph. Silly argument in my opinion, but nobody wants to put numbers to it...

More to come in my Collison Journal entry. Ughhhh, I have to stop reading the blog until I have time to post the entries. LOL

Thanks so much for the post. Ya beat me to doing all the searching to find that data. I thank you so much for saving me the time. LOL I think you made some excellent points, almost all of which I agree with. Not that you are looking for my approval. HA. One thing though, isn't the math on the big expiring total wrong? Shouldn't that be 25.2 million?

All in all Great job, and thanks. #

@QueenBee: That is part of my journal entry I am working on for my opinions on Marcus, but I will put it here. He needs to better gauge when to jump that high. Putting his center of gravity above a 7 footers head makes it too easy for you to end up coming down head first. Guys naturally start backing up in the paint in a rote memory boxing out motion when the ball is in the air. They can not be expected to know that Marcus is flying above their heads from behind, especially how fast he gets up there from being on the floor. The result is he ends up with a bruised back, lower or upper, if he is lucky. I don't really think it is a matter of body control, just a matter of picking his battles and knowing his surrounding. "Reckless Abandon" is the only term for that guy.

One of the reasons why I love him though. #
