  What concerns me about Amundson ist that he is listed 6-9, but was measured nowhere close to that when he entered the league in 2006.

  I was about to write a similar journal entry. Amundson would be great pick-up. The question is, what kind of contract is the team able to offer?? The team is over the cap with approximately $68,530,000 in salaries and the luxury tax threshold for the upcoming season is $70,307,000. So $1,777,844 are left. Are we allowed to spend them all for Amundson or are just minimum contracts possible?
  
  Watson is a 9-year pro, that makes his minimum contract worth $1,229,255. Amundson has 4 years under his belt, that means you have to pay him at least $915,852 for next year. So the hornets are not going to get them both, because they will definetely avoid to pay the L-tax!
