Even for me, Marcus is untouchable. I am not from Louisiana, hence I dont have as much emotional attachement as some of you might have. But still, He is the perfect fit for this teams offense. He can be spot up shooter or cutter and scorer underneath the basket. We got the mid-range covered with DWets, CP and some other guys. With Marcus complementing especially these two is very important. As has been shown his most efficient areas are where our two other main scorers dont play that much. The only one people might consider for Marcus (in a package) is Anthony. After reading some articles and opinions from the Denver blogs, I am convinced that he is not the right fit for the Hornets. Even the teams blogs questioned his max-worthiness(?) and efficiency. #

I really like the signing and I hope he gets that roster spot. Aside from his athletic abilities and skill, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders and is a quality guy.
The new direction of the team is very promising and it seems like the team will consist of many young veterans (like Sir Monty described Ariza) instead of just veterans with milage.
Lets get Amundson!! #

I actually still think Melo will resign with Denver and only waits until the new FO is in place. But if he tells them he wanted to leave (that is a huge IF) I think the Hornets have something in store to make the Nuggets ponder a trade with the Hornets seriously. Their salary structure has them having many contracts running out after this season. They wouldnt really need expiring contracts, but if Melo leaves you’d probably still would want to have a clean slate after this season and still be at least play-off worthy this season. New York can not offer that. NO can. What about DWest, Peja and a couple of first rounders for Melo, Birdman and Balkman? The Nuggets unload every long term contract, but get an All Star player, a servicable expiring in Peja and future young players. On the other hand the hornets are good to go.
Maybe this trade may be too Hornets friendly, but it all depends on the strategy of the other team. #
berlinhornets would rather remain mysterious.
