Rough game tonight. But that said, Youngfella, why the hate for Bower? He's done a good job this year with all the injuries. He's obviously intelligent, works hard, and understands the game. I think he'll continue to be a good coach for us. #

I know some OKC people wanted to steal our team, and some of you got mad about that, and I get that; but I'll always be grateful they gave us a temporary home so that we could buy our time until Nola could support a team again.
They have a good, young core, that is fun to watch (when they're not playing us), and if they are in the Playoffs and not us, I'll be rooting for them. #

Good competitive game so far. Defense has shown in spurts, looked to give up baskets too easy in others. Fortunately, we're forcing turnovers. #

Another pertinent fact: Emeka contract saves the team apx. $1.2M each this year and next when compared to Tyson's contract over those same two years. Because the Hornets were over the luxury tax before, that's $2.4M in savings. This is a very understated part of that trade; it took on more YEARS under contract, but is paying less AMOUNT per year during the two years where the Hornets have little or no cap flexibility. #

This Buckets video was awesome. You can really see what he's talking about in it, when he says that because he's short he's always had to play with taller players: he has a variety of ways to use his off-hand and body and motion to keep the ball away from defenders as he goes to the rim. He's the best. #

I say keep Collison, too. I don't want to be anyone's farm club. We need to keep and attract talent, not trade it away. Nonetheless, nothing wrong with GMs keeping their ears open. #

Although the first half was defensively miserable, the comeback in the second and the sudden runs we made were almost worth it. To come so close and fall short hurts. Hopefully Bower can get them up tonight against another big villain. #

The refs are killing us. Killing us. If it wasn't for our 3-ball assault... #

Let's not forget the Mavs are top of the Conference and we have no Chris (our best player) and Songaila (our best bencher). If we can take the Spurs tomorrow, It'll be all good. #
I've been a Hornets season ticket holder since the team returned to the Big Easy, and try to watch all the road games on TV or the internet. I love the Hornets; I have the gear; and I blog it.
