Untouchable. i'll bet he'll be the secondary star CP3 needs. they are perfect for each other. if he ever learns to play good D, and i'm sure he'll eventually want to, then we might possibly have the best back court in the league for years to come. don't you agree? #

i believe the Amundson signing is more of a precursor of what the hornets brass will do as regards to Peja and Songaila. Imagine, if Amundson signs with us, then Brackins can move to the 3(with shared minutes with Pondexter), Pondexter can move to the 2(with shared minutes with Bellinelli and Shakur) and Shakur(or Belli) can man the point. IMHO, that would make for an awesome bench.
And if somehow, we get a call from Philadelphia(with Iggy-Brand) or less possible scenarios like Cleveland(Varejao) Detroit(Charlie V), Washington(Hinrich and Mcgee) or Denver(Nene or UNPOSSIBLY Melo) about a possible salary dump(because they want to rebuild), then at least it won't trading Songaila won't cost as that much because Amundson has that covered. :) #

i've proposed going at shakur before, i finally get my wish!
a big strong guard, i don't actually know why he hasn't earned a spot in the NBA. the only thing i saw bad from his play was that he jump passes a lot of times. you can't do that in the NBA! besides that, his offense seems steady, nothing to flashy. i don't know much about his defense, but with a right system, his big frame and above average athleticism should stand out.
we still have 2 roster spots to fill, i hope on of them is mustafa shakur, another is lou amundson and another is rod benson. then we'd have team composed of...
Paul/Shakur
Thornton/Bellinelli
Ariza/Pondexter
West/Brackins
Okafor/Gray
with Peja and Songaila as trade chips..
and our blogging team would be
Ryan Schwan, Michael Mcnamara, Joe G and Rod B. WOOT!
ROFLMAO #
nikkoewan would rather remain mysterious.
